Gilded Easter Basket

Good morning

Today's make is a little Easter Basket using the Sue Wilson Easter Basket Kinetic Die I always wherever possible buy all my Creative Expressions stash from Julia Watts Crafts, her service and prices are excellent.

I followed the instructions which I found in PDF format on the Joanna Sheen Website, to construct the basket using Kraft Card. I gilded the weave and handle parts of the die cut card with Pebeo King Gold gilding wax and buffed it up. I added a yellow bow to the top, filled with chocolate eggs laid on shredded tissue paper.  I found this very easy to construct it took about 20 minutes in all to cut and put together.  My tip would be that you use a wet glue to seal the relevant edges.  I would however, not recommend Kraft Card for this project and will use a good quality card if I decide to make any more.

This is a demo run for me to see how easy and how quickly they can be made up to see if I can sell at a profit.  This will be opened by me on Easter Sunday!

Thank you for passing by have a lovely day and hope to see you back here soon.
