I'm a bit late in posting today but I have been in a creative mood and have had a damn good play with dies, paints, alcohol pens and guilding wax.
Nothing else much to say really other than that I have been in my craft room since lunch time and not had to go and have a lie down which is a big step forward from this time last week when I couldn't get out of bed for 3-4 days.
So my dear friends here are my arty uploads, hope you like.
This is the first one I have made using Sue Wilson Working Candy Machine Kinetics dies, I thoroughly enjoyed making this and it will keep my granddaughter amused when we go out for lunch tomorrow. Here is the link for the "how to video" on you tube, which was really useful as I could stop at each step.
Now this one I really enjoyed doing. It is a woodware stamp which was on Hochanda TV demonstrated by the lovely Julia Watts it is called Wiggly Stems. Sorry Julia, I virtually copied everything you did on this demo. I used some watercolour paints to colour in the elements on smooth paper cut to 6" by 6" and then when dry I covered them with a Crafters Companion Glitter pen. I used Sue Wilson Pieced Squares to cut out the frames. I am going to look for a frame at one of the local £1 shops and put it on the wall. I really love this stamp and I know I am going to use it over and over again.
Bye for today, and hope (if you are a mum) have a lovely Mother's Day, and if you are a son/daughter show your mum how much she means to you. You don't need to spend loads of money, time is much more important and us Mums even though we may "moan" or "nag" we only do it because we care.
