I have been asked to make a card for a Sapphire Wedding Anniversary (45 years).
I started off with White with a hint of Silver Centura pearl card cut to two different sizes for matting purposes. I edged each square with Zig two way glue pen and dipped in fine white glitter, it think it is MCS but had it in my stash for ages so not 100% sure.
I then cut a piece of the Centura pearl card to a 19cm square and then cut it in half, I embossed one half and kept the other plain and then pieced back together taping them on the back. I printed the sentiment on the front of the card colouring the font to blue and then covered in kaleidoscope fine embossing powder.
I then cut the sentiment using Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles Die. I used the Sue Wilson Fillables range using the outside of the Fluttering Heart die and added the 45 using Tonic Studio Duocap number dies in glitter card from my stash to the centre and adding a blue gem from my stash. I wrapped navy blue ribbon around the card to hide the card join and added a gem flower from Stamps by Chloe
(A useful tip here - I have a wonderful printer and Epson WF3520, if I set the printer settings to the following Page type Envelope; Quality High; I can run one piece of Centura pearl through the printer an if I have the embossing powder ready to add when it comes out I can emboss my sentiment. Just make sure that you ensure that the sentiment will fit the required die before you waste a piece of card - I usually try it on a piece of cheap copy paper first until I am happy with the layout of the sentiment)
