Its in the small print!

Happy Friday,

Today's post is a project I have created for a male birthday.  Male cards, as I have said are notoriously difficult to do (well they are for me anyway).  Sheena Douglass comes up with brilliant ideas for stamps and I do love them all, my husband and bank manager would disagree, but well, it keeps me off the streets and Bill always knows where to find me.

I mounted some  mirri card onto a cream 8x8 card and then mounted some black typography paper I had in my stash (I think they are some Kanban papers from years ago) then I cut some of the same card but in cream into odd sized pieces and laid them down at an angle.  I embossed some black card with a happy birthday embossing folder.  I stamped the typewriter image from Sheena Douglass A Little Bit Sketchy Mystery Author stamp collection and stamped Happy Birthday on the page in the typewriter.  I tied a red ribbon around the card and then glued the typewriter image over the top.

Not a very time consuming card to make but it does look very effective.
